Wellington Point State High School are seeking a passionate and dedicated Head of Department (Secondary) - The Arts, to join our leadership on a temporary, full-time basis for the duration of Term 3, 2024, unless otherwise determined.

This exciting opportunity willallow the successful applicant to lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students, while nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.
This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months. About the Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.Embed socially just practices in daily school life.Set high standards for student and staff performance.Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.
