This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months. Your Opportunity:

You will be responsible for a range of tasks including, confidential executive and administrative support to the Executive Director as well as the processing and tracking of correspondence for the Office of the Executive Director, Workforce Services, Systems and Analytics.

Your Role:

The Executive Support Officer responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
Coordinating diary appointments, receiving visitors and welcoming delegations to the Office of the Executive Director including liaison with senior Government and private sector executives.Act as first point of contact for the Office of the Executive Director, Workforce Services, Systems and Analytics and screen, respond to or redirect enquiries.Arrange appointments and meetings, including venues, travel arrangements and accommodation.Maintain the records management systems and administer the flow of correspondence into and out of the Office, including acting as the central point for correspondence and documents, including distribution of correspondence, follow up on outstanding items and preparation of documents for approval.Provide administrative support and oversight of office equipment maintenance and consumable stock supplies, equipment repairs, disposal and purchases.About You:

To be successful in the role you will possess the following attributes:
Organisational and time management skills;Ability to quickly establish and maintain effective working relationships;High level communication and interpersonal skills; andExperience in use of correspondence tracking and electronic diary management systems.The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate proficiency across Microsoft Office applications/Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote as well as high level time management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Most importantly, you will be a team player, proactive, willing to learn and able to manage a range of issues in a time sensitive manner.
