About You: As a Research Assistant, you will undertake research activities in line with the University's research strategy.
It is expected that the Research Assistant will work with an increasing degree of autonomy as skills and experience develop.
Research Assistant Tasks Overview: Collect model variables (corporate governance, financial, and country-level variables) for data extension (by three years) as required by the editor.
Collect default components and execute the default risk calculations based on components collected from the datasets.
Mine/clean and merge the data from different sources to be used in testable software (Stata).
We are looking for a research assistant skilled in Excel, financial databases e.g.
WRDS, and STATA.
Qualification: Ph D Please Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children Check.
