Expressions of interest are invited from candidates at any career level as we have a number of current and upcoming opportunities for Engineering professionals in both Defence and Defence industry projects.

What are we looking for? Contributing to the development and execution of complex systems engineering projects.Delivering quality engineering outcomes ensuring Support, Training, V&V and Supplier Quality elements are considered within a Statement of Work.Analysing user needs and technical requirements to design innovative and effective solutions that align with defence project objectives.Understanding of Technical Regulatory Framework/Land worthiness framework.Understanding of interoperability and integration requirements of military systems.Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, project managers, and external stakeholders to drive seamless integration and deployment of systems.Participating in the entire systems development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, validation, and ongoing maintenance.Conducting thorough risk assessments and contributing to the development of contingency plans to ensure project success and mitigate potential issues.Staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and defence sector developments to bring best practices and innovative approaches to the team.What we would like from you: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience working as a Systems Engineer, ideally with some experience on Australian Defence projects.Knowledge of Australian Defence protocols, standards, and compliance requirements.Proven experience in systems design, integration, and testing within complex engineering environments.Strong proficiency in system modelling tools and methodologies.Previous experience preferred for Defence project roles.Life at Horsell? You will work mostly on-site with our Defence clients, following their task direction and ensuring your work is delivered according to agreed schedules. However, you will always be supported by the greater Horsell team, who have many years of experience in delivering similar work, ensuring you are never alone.
