YOUR ROLE Based on the Edinburgh Parks site, on Kaurna land, your role purpose will be critical to our successful operations in the following ways:
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Technical Officer to support the operations of the DWRF in Adelaide. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks related to logistics and operations, ensuring the safe handling, transportation, and accountability of project assets and explosive ordnance (EO). This role requires a high level of attention to detail and adherence to security protocols.
Handle, transport, and account for project assets and explosivesMaintain facility operations and equipmentProvide technical support to stakeholdersConduct inventory assurance and stocktaking as well as facility inspections and vehicle checksIdentify maintenance needs and take corrective actionYOUR EXPERIENCE Completed training/demonstrated competence Certificate IV in EO or the ability to obtainStrong knowledge in working with EO, including warehousing and transportation and packaging of EOPrevious experience in facilities inspection as well as stock checksCurrent holder (or have held in the past) of a Defence Security Clearance of NV1 or aboveWE ENCOURAGE YOU TO APPLY After you have applied, you will receive an email acknowledging your application.
