ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a Facility Operator to join our team at our Waste Recovery Facility in Stawell, Victoria.
The position will be involved in all aspects of operations at the Acetylene Recycling Facility, light machinery operations, labouring and asbestos removal works. If you do not have previous Asbestos experience, Enviropacific will provide training and certification.
Key responsibilities will include:
Compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies Enforcing and demonstrating safe work practices in relation to asbestos. Operating loaders, excavators, forklifts and other mechanical processing equipment. General labouring, housekeeping and maintenance as required. ABOUT YOU You will be interested in developing your career by taking an active involvement in this project and the development of our capabilities in this rapidly expanding industrial hub by helping with an Australian and industry first facility.
You will have:
A production and problem-solving focus to achieve daily targets. Strong labouring experience and a willingness to learn. Strong communication skills and be able to use own initiative. Experience in Friable asbestos removal within enclosures is highly beneficial, but not essential. Demonstrated ability to take a hands-on approach on site. Experience operating mobile plant is an advantage but not essential. Additional training will be provided for the right candidate including forklift ticket.
