Aspire Sustainability Consulting is a boutique, established ESD Consultancy based in Surry Hills, Sydney. Our services are highly varied, however largely comprise Green Star, Section J, BASIX & NABERS scope of works collaborating with Australia's largest developers, builders, and architects.
Aspire first conducted business in late 2019 and has progressed from strength to strength, contributing to the delivery of a number of high-profile projects across Australia. Our client base is expanding rapidly, testament to our industry leading consulting expertise and technical proficiency.
Due to a large number of exciting projects being secured for 2025, Aspire is looking to recruit an experienced ESD/Green Star consultant. Responsibilities will include:
Conducting environmental impact assessments for a range of development projects;Proposing solutions to address negative environmental impacts;Preparation of high-quality deliverables including reports and fee proposals;Client liaison and management;Technical work in the form of remedial design, risk assessment, conceptual model development, hydrogeology;implementing policies and organising activities to conserve and protect natural and cultural heritage. Duties and experience in the following areas is required:
Energy (NABERS & GS), daylight & thermal comfort modelling;Section J1V3 Performance Solution Assessments:BASIX Assessments;Climate Change Adaptation Plans;Life Cycle Assessments;Green Star project delivery & client management;Completing Green Star scorecards, briefing documents and specifications;Calculations required for various Green Star credits;Reviews of consultant and subcontractor documentation;WELL/LEED Building Standard accreditation (preferred, not necessary); &Resourcing, fee proposals & managing a team.This unique role will involve working closely with the company's managing director and offers:

Degree/Masters in Engineering, Architecture, or built environment related degree.Strong written and verbal skills;Minimum 2 years Green Star experience in an ESD Consultant role;Developed knowledge of engineering and architectural principles to analyse and interpret documentation and drawings;Possess a body of knowledge that allows you to evaluate ESD attributes and opportunities within designs, and where improvements are required (mechanical, façade, spatial, etc);Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team and environment; &Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, effectively resourcing to meet client deadlines.If you feel you are the right candidate for the role, please get in touch with Luke Williams at [email protected] and issue your resume & cover letter for consideration.
