As a Senior ESG Advisor in our Suncorp Bank Business Banking division, you'll spearhead the development and implementation of ESG frameworks that address critical risks and opportunities. This position offers you the chance to drive significant change by working with our people, customers and partners to continue to shape our approach to ESG across Suncorp Bank's Business Banking portfolio. You will be pivotal in advancing our commitment to responsible banking practices and ensuring our strategies align with our sustainability goals. This program of work supports the future Australian business' and will offer banking you can feel good about.

What will your day look like?
As a Senior Advisor ESG you will:
Drive the implementation of our strategic ESG roadmap that aligns with our Business Banking objectives and broader Bank ambitions. Collaborate with the leadership team to deliver impactful projects that drive measurable ESG outcomes and support our sustainability goals. Design and implement innovative, sustainability-focused solutions for our business customers, enhancing risk management and compliance. Build and nurture relationships with industry experts and external stakeholders to strengthen our ESG network and knowledge base. Engage in continuous learning and development to stay at the forefront of ESG trends and best practices. What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Previous experience in an environmental and/or ESG project delivery. Strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of ESG matters, frameworks and policies. A track record in the development and driving of strategic-level decision making and change management. Specialist knowledge of ESG matters, processes, national and international policies, obligations and frameworks. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data and communicate them clearly. A customer-centric approach to ESG initiatives, ensuring alignment with business needs and goals. You're not expected to have 100% of these skills. We value a growth mindset, so if you have most of these things in your toolbox, we'd love to hear from you.
