About the role: As a signatory to the Australian Packaging Covenant (APCO), Signet is working towards the 2025 National Packaging Targets.
This focuses on sustainable material sourcing and manufacturing, right through to the end-of-life product disposal.

Our national HSEQ team is keen to have a proactive and talented individual to join them as an Environmental Social Governance Coordinator , to champion the excellent initiatives Signet already have implemented already.
Some of these include our Ecobiz Accreditation, Operation Clean Sweep, our Solar Energy initiative, and Signet Green Team!
In order to design, influence and execute key initiatives in line with our Environmental Social Governance priorities, responsibilities for this position will include: Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control Investigations, Analysis and Continual Improvement Audits and Reviews Documenting, Reporting Systems & Submissions Supporting HSE projects and initiatives Acting as lead Educator for contractors, visitors and staff on all things ESG.
Overall department support and duties as assigned About you: Along with a passion for sustainability innovation and accountability, the successful candidate should have a holistic knowledge of sustainability and wider environmental, social and governance issues for the built environment.
Other qualities & experience that we also value are: Ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines Excellent report writing skills and exposure to mainstream ERP or Safety systems Effective communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and with cross-functional teams Interest in the HSEQ field (Desirable) Interest in a manufacturing, engineering, or distribution environment.
