You will be responsible for laundry and cleaning duties within our facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents. You will contribute as an integral member of the Seniors Living group and support activities aligned with the strategic direction and consistent with the mission and values of Churches of Christ.
In this role you will: Be responsible for laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and labeling;Distribute linen and resident clothing; maintain the cleanliness of the laundry and equipment;Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility's residential areas.About you To be successful in this role, you will be a positive individual who works well with others, demonstrating kindness, respect, and compassion in every interaction. You will have the ability to work autonomously and flexibility to work across cleaning and laundry areas as required. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver quality service and work effectively as part of a team, with previous experience in a similar role being desirable.
Ideally, your experience and qualifications include: Certificate II in Cleaning Operations or similar (desirable but not essential);Previous relevant work experience, preferably within a multi-disciplinary team environment;Experience in the Aged Care industry will be highly regarded;Experience in operating equipment associated with cleaning and laundry;Availability to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day week;Possess a current National Police Check or the ability to acquire one.Importantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Unconditional Love, Continual Innovation, Mutual Trust, Wise Stewardship, and Safety.
