About the Role
We have new opportunities at our Bribie Island Aged Care Service for people to join a dedicated team and provide kitchen and cleaning services. You will be responsible for undertaking food handling, cleaning and laundry duties in a variety of areas including the main kitchen, bedrooms, dining rooms and common areas. In this varied role your day-to-day responsibilities could include: Exceptional customer service, serving food to elderly residents; Setting up and clearing dining rooms and tray service to resident rooms; Dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen, equipment & dining areas; Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices according to legislation; General cleaning duties.
About You
You are an enthusiastic reliable worker who enjoys being a team player and can also work autonomously. You will be passionate about kitchen and cleaning duties and committed to providing excellent customer service to our residents. Working in a fast-paced environment you will have compassion for the elderly and are passionate about maintaining an environment suitable to their needs. Ideally you will have: Experience working in the Aged Care industry is desirable, but not essential; Experience working in commercial kitchens and operating equipment is desirable; Physical capacity to carry out the duties required; Current National Police Certificate or the ability to acquire.
