Our regional offices connect us more closely to our regional clients, with locally won work delivered by our regional offices, supported by our Perth office as needed. Our Bunbury office is a small, close-knit team of professionals who are collaborative and supportive, drawing upon the knowledge and experience of our wider groups in Perth. We're looking for a Senior Environmental Scientist (Contamination Assessment and Remediation) to join our Bunbury team. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Managing the costs and resources on projects so that work is carried out within the approved budget Providing supervision, guidance and feedback to professional, technical and support staff when required Further developing client relationships through regular communications relating to project progress, whilst anticipating client needs and responding to requests in a timely and professional manner Preparation and review of technical reports including sampling and analysis quality plans, preliminary and detailed site investigations, remediation action plans and site validation reports Leading and contributing to the preparation of proposals and bids for projects What you will bring to the team: Bachelor degree qualifications in an environmental science or related discipline, including extensive experience in Federal and Western Australian environmental legislation Team orientation, good people relationship and networking skills, with a focus on client service Demonstrated experience and a sound understanding of current contaminated sites technologies Proven excellence at all stages of the project life-cycle, from preparing bids to feasibility studies, consenting, detailed design and data analysis, and stakeholder management Project management and delivery of various contaminated site projects including site investigation, environmental monitoring, remediation and validation. Demonstrated professional judgement and commercial acumen, including identifying, assessing, evaluating and solving problems to brief and budget Robust written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely An interest in coaching and mentoring to technically strengthen the team capabilities Interested?
