This role will see you working within our Site Assessment and Remediation (SAR) group.
Our SAR team are highly regarded for their expertise; have a strong pipeline of work and enjoy a satisfying and flexible work environment.
About the role
Day to day here's what you'll be focused on:
Designing field investigations including soil or groundwater sampling and soil vapour assessment
Coordinate projects, including budget, scope, time, stakeholder communication and client relationships
Preparing contaminated site reports
Oversee contractors and take responsibility for safe and quality field programs
Directing and guiding site remediation activities
Supporting our EPA appointed Environmental Auditors across industry sectors.
Interacting with regulatory authorities
Developing comprehensive and competitive proposals.
About you

Qualities and credentials, we'd love to see:
Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Geology, or a related discipline
Must be mobile to work along the East Coast of Australia
2+ years' experience in contaminated site assessment and/or remediation activities, including soil, groundwater and soil vapour sampling, Environmental Audit support, and technical reporting
Experience and/or interest in our key markets of property and transport infrastructure
Project and client management or experience working on a portfolio of sites
Knowledge of guidelines and standards related to the investigation and management of contaminated land at State and Federal level
Professional writing skills to produce technical reports and successful proposals
