Due to their need for expansion, experience managing biodiversity assessments for major infrastructure projects would be highly regarded.The position will be based in Neutral Bay and ideally, it would be a full-time position; however, a part-time role would also be considered to provide flexibility for the right applicant.As of this moment, they are looking for an experienced environmental science specialist to assist them in operation.
You will be undertaking these responsibilities:Undertaking desktop and field-based terrestrial biodiversity assessmentsProviding advice for environmental designs such as fauna connectivity structuresPreparing biodiversity offset strategies and undertaking biodiversity monitoringDeveloping the skills of less senior staffCollaborating with multidisciplinary project teamsPreparing reports to exceptional technical and editorial standardsOur ideal candidate should possess the following key skills and experience:BAM accredited assessorExperience in NSW undertaking biodiversity assessmentsExpertise and confidence in the identification of NSW vegetation communitiesA desire to grow, lead and develop peopleAn appreciation of commercial risk management in the consulting industryCurrent driver's licenceIf you are an experienced specialist and would like to speak with us about this role, please call us on for a confidential discussion!#J-18808-Ljbffr
