About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Environmental Protection Specialist to join our team in the Operations division. As an Environmental Protection Specialist, you will play a key role in protecting the environment and people from harm through the management of licensed premises and investigation of environmental incidents and complaints.
Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake diverse day-to-day tasks related to the application of Environment Protection Authority (EPA) legislative responsibilities in assigned regulatory areas.Contribute to the fulfilment of obligations and aims through the enhancement and preservation of the natural and cultural heritage values of the EPA.Work collaboratively with the Operations division to achieve environmental protection goals.About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a sound understanding of the relevant policies, practices, and legislative requirements that govern the EPA's operations. You will have knowledge and experience in one or more environment protection areas, including air, water, noise, waste, chemicals, hazardous materials, radiation, and environmental planning.
