Projects and programs are to comply with legislation, Energy Queensland (EQL), Yurika, client and contractual obligations in relation to HSE, risk management and mitigation actions.
The role will enable continual improvement and contemporary risk thinking in the management and promotion of HSE strategies and initiatives.

Focusing predominantly on the environment, you will be responsible for the implementation and assurance of HSE management plans and tools at a project level.
You will provide onsite HSE management support to project activities, to ensure that health, safety and environmental standards are applied and adhered to in project delivery, specific to client and contractual requirements.
This role will be supporting our Wambo Windfarm project, and the expectation is to be working on a 10/4 roster.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract where the bottom of the salary band starts from $158,706 + 14.75% superannuation + site allowances (as applicable).

About You: In addition to your Advanced Diploma Occupational Health & Safety & Environment and/or demonstrated knowledge and experience, you have experience in leading or participating in OHS, Environment or Quality systems.
You have demonstrable experience in power, energy or renewables industries with technical understanding of electrical systems.
Finally, you have proven capability in the implementation and application of WHSE policies, procedures, systems, training and relevant legislation, along with the development of specific HSE systems for high-risk construction activities.
