$125,000 – $155,000 neg.
PFAS, Waste classification, PSI DSI and Remediation for major government defence contracts.
Smaller Consultancy winning Top-Tier Work.
Position: Project Manager in Contaminated Sites / Remediation
Join an Australian Environmental Consultancy that, despite its smaller size, is competing with top-tier players, winning multiple Defence contracts against their tenders.
They are ideally looking for 2x Environmental PMs & a Senior PM to jump onto the long-term work they've won (with plenty of further tenders looking very likely).
The Projects:
PFAS, Waste classification, PSI DSI and Remediation for major government defence contracts.
Designing work scopes, leading & mentoring small teams of Juniors, advising clients & supervising contractors against the programs you've designed.
These are sizeable works – not tick & flick sort of projects.
Pure project management (not technical reporting) with travel to sites once every couple of months.
The Consultancy:
If you're currently at one of the big, top-tier consultancies, the culture at this firm will be a breath of fresh air. They have a very open culture with no cliques and no red tape.
The CEO promotes people quickly based on worth, not length or tenure, providing young staff the opportunity to show what they can do. One Senior, for example, was recently promoted to VIC Ops Manager.
There will be progression to Project Director for the right person – this is a role they have slated to create for this team, preferably from within.
Who they're looking for:
5+ years experience in project management and contract administration of environmental remediation projects as a consultant, regulator, or within the industry.
Experience in environmental and contaminated land management, including contaminated site assessments or large-scale construction projects.
Able to successfully obtain and maintain a minimum Baseline Security Clearance.
Defence Experience ideal (if not defence, other commonwealth experience considered).
If you're interested in applying for or learning more about this role, please feel free to send your resume or contact me. Your approach will be held in confidence.
