The Role:We are looking for a talented Senior Environmental Planner who is interested in taking their career to the next level by working in an environment where they are invited to challenge themselves to think creatively and provide innovative solutions.
The role will also afford team leadership opportunities for candidates who are looking to further their leadership skills.Under the direction of our Team Leaders and Principal staff, you will support the delivery of projects with a focus on statutory approval processes, construction environmental management, and environmental compliance.
A solid understanding of NSW and Commonwealth environmental legislation is highly regarded.
Core tasks will include writing reports and impact assessments, internal and client correspondence, as well as mentoring junior team members.
Fieldwork will be required from time to time.
About You: 5+ years of experience in a similar roleTertiary qualifications from a recognised institution in Environmental Planning / Management or related disciplinesRelevant demonstrated experience in statutory and environmental planning, environmental management, site management, compliance monitoring / reporting, and impact assessmentWorking knowledge of relevant NSW Environmental legislation including the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, policies, and knowledge of standards and guidelinesExperience in construction and/or the resources sector is desirableExcellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in relevant environmental documentationGood client relationships and business development skillsExperience as a demonstrated team playerAbility to self-motivate and take ownership of delivery tasks and projectsFor more information, please contact Miles on or via email at .
