Description Environmental Lead About the role At RACQ, sustainability is at the heart of our 2032 strategy as we drive the transition towards electrified mobility in Queensland. Our commitment extends beyond our members; we are dedicated to achieving net-zero operations and enhancing our environmental and social impact. We are seeking an Environmental Lead to spearhead our climate and environmental commitments. Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, you will collaborate closely with business managers to implement operational changes, elevate climate literacy, and enhance our value chain. You will also work with external experts to meet the evolving expectations of our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategies to achieve RACQ's environmental goals. Manage relationships with sustainability industry bodies and intermediaries. Advise executive teams on sustainability initiatives and organisational change. Lead program implementation and stakeholder engagement to drive positive outcomes. About you Relevant experience in corporate responsibility, sustainability, or environmental management.
Strong track record in business strategy and program implementation.
Financial services experience is desirable.
Proven ability to lead organisational change and achieve environmental outcomes.
