Environmental / Land Use Planner

We are seeking an experienced land use or environmental planner to assist with the management of urban planning, redevelopment applications, and rezoning of land.
The role has the potential to assist with project management of large-scale regional projects. We require a pro-active individual with initiative and commercial expertise.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the urban environment as well as rural and remote areas.
The successful applicant will work closely with our team to provide professional independent advice to our clients.
You will:
Have demonstrated experience in consulting and managing approvalsAssist with advice to private, corporate, and government clientsProvide strategic approvals advice for projectsInteract with technical professionals and stakeholders within multi-disciplinary projectsAttend client, government, and community meetingsCarry out research, information, and data gathering and analysisAbout you: Qualifications in Town Planning / Environmental Planning or other associated disciplineMembership in a professional association will be viewed favourablyMust demonstrate advanced written, verbal communication, and presentation skillsMust be able to quickly master industry terminology and legislationMust demonstrate a high level of confidentiality at all timesOpportunity to grow with the business and be considered for performance bonuses.
