About the role In this role, you will be supporting the objectives of the Environmental Health Unit to protect and improve public and environmental health by assisting qualified Environmental Health Officers to enforce statutory food, public and environmental health risk and evidence-based programs, to ensure Council meets its responsibilities under legislation to provide the community with a health supportive urban environment.
Role accountabilities include: Assist in the development and delivery of public and environmental health and other programs relevant to the role.
Investigation of a range of customer requests under the following legislation and by-laws.
Assisting staff within the Environmental Health Unit in the performance and completion of their roles and responsibilities following any reasonable direction Follow procedures, instructions and complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
