This role provides a great opportunity for an Environmental Health Officer to take on a diverse role in a highly successful team working towards our team mission of "Preserving the environment, protecting the community and providing for a healthy tomorrow." What can you bring to the team? Bachelor of Science (Environmental Health) degree or qualifications acceptable for Public Health Act 2016 A passion for environmental health and a desire to contribute to the health and wellbeing of our community.
Exceptional customer service skills and an ability to negotiate positive outcomes that benefit our community.
An ability to work effectively and add value to the team.
Strong communication skills with colleagues and the community.
Sound knowledge of all legislation, associated regulations and policies relevant to environmental health.
Sound technical knowledge related to inspection, education and enforcement processes.
National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old).
As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to complete a drug and alcohol test.

This full-time Level 5/6 (depending on skills and experience) position attracts a pro-rata salary range of $87,623 - $102,693 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
