About the position
The Environmental Health Officer position will promote and protect the community's health and environmental standards by preventing disease and harm by being responsible for providing a range of enforcement, regulatory, and administrative functions with a focus on food safety, environmental protection, disaster management, personal appearance, public health, local laws, and waste management.
This position will work under general direction, however graduates will initially be appointed to work under direct supervision.
The salary range for this position is $70,069.71 - $87,970.19gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation. This is a Temporary Full time position until 17 April 2025 (Parental Leave cover). The position is based in the Toowoomba CBD. CBD Parking provided. Free Flu Vaccinations.
