You will be rewarded with a salary range of between $91,278 to $117,214 + employer super up to 15% (after probation) + a nine-day fortnight + no debit – no credit personal leave + the ability to negotiate flexible work arrangements in line with Council's Enterprise Agreement.
About youWe are looking for someone who brings:
At least 3 years' experience in a similar role within a Local Government or similar industry.Tertiary qualifications in Health Science (Environmental Health) to the satisfaction of the Tasmanian Director of Public Health.Strong investigative skills, including evidence gathering and applying legislation with sound judgement based on risk management principles.Proven knowledge of, and experience in assessing applications and investigating complaints related to environmental health, public health, and food businesses within a Local Government framework.Undertaking assessments of on-site wastewater treatment systems.Demonstrated problem solving and out-of-the-box thinking to resolve complex issues.Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.Essential to hold a current driver's licence.Make a positive impact on our community's health and environment – apply today!
