This is a full-time, diverse and fast-paced role, based predominantly Helensvale and surrounding project sites.
Responsibilities • The Environmental Graduate is responsible to assist and support the Environmental Advisor in providing advice, support and guidance to project teams in the application of the Environmental Management System as reflected in the Environmental Management Plan and other environmental matters.
• Assist in preparing reports, work plans, and conducting site investigations.
• Collect, process, and evaluate environmental data such as soil, water quality, and air emissions data using state-of-the-art tools and software.
• Assist in interpreting permits and other environmental documents, and develop compliance assurance plans and inspection procedures.
• Promote and contribute to sustainability initiatives and environmental innovation within projects.
• This role also provides a clear pathway for progression to Environmental Advisor or Specialist roles within the company.
Essential Skills and Attributes • Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities.
• Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong skills in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Highly effective planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead and motivate.
• Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Commitment to fostering a positive safety and environmental culture.
