Project : Acciona has been awarded the Design & Construct contract for the Singleton Bypass. This major project will see construction of 8km of single lane highway with approximately 2.5 km of bridge structures and upgrades to local intersections. This diverse and challenging project has a 2 year construction program ensuring longevity in your role and presenting opportunities to grow within the business.
Opportunity : We're looking for an Environmental Coordinator to ensure a sustainable environmental impact in all activities carried out by the organisation.
Responsibilities : Developing and implementing environmental management plans that comply with regulations and ACCIONA's sustainability commitments.Monitoring and reporting on environmental performance, ensuring adherence to permits and approvals.Identifying and mitigating potential environmental risks associated with construction activities.Liaising with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and contractors, on environmental matters.Conducting environmental site inspections and audits.Raising awareness and promoting environmental best practices within the project team.Skills & Experience : Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Sustainability or other associated disciplines.Experience in investigating and reporting safety incidents.Working knowledge of audit procedures.Construction Induction Card (White Card).If you feel like you meet some or all of the above - Apply Now!
