Join a dynamic team working on some of Australia's most significant infrastructure projects.Engage in challenging and complex contaminated land projects with opportunities for nationwide travel.Attractive salary package with relocation support for the ideal candidate.We are seeking passionate Environmental/Senior Environmental and/or HAZMAT Consultants, Engineers, or Scientists to join our Adelaide team.
This role involves working primarily in Adelaide, with opportunities to engage in regional SA and interstate projects.
You will work closely with our Principal team members on contaminated land investigations, hazardous materials assessments, and remediation of various project types, including large-scale and complex projects.

Role Responsibilities Design and implement field programs, including soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling.Coordinate and execute fieldwork in line with project scope, budget, and timelines.Mentor and lead junior team members.Interpret field and laboratory data to provide expert advice and compile technical reports.Oversee contractors to ensure the safety and quality of field programs.Liaise with clients, stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and EPA accredited auditors.About You Ideal candidates are:
Committed professionals with strong relationship-building skills.Eager to learn and advance as the company grows.Team players energized by collaborative project delivery.Self-starters with effective time management and communication skills.Detail-oriented, especially in document preparation.Experience & Qualifications 3 to 10+ years of experience, preferably in contaminated land/environmental/geoscience/hazardous materials sectors.Bachelor's or higher degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Geoscience, Chemistry, or related fields.
Significant experience in these fields will be considered in lieu of tertiary qualifications for the right candidate.Project management experience, including proposal writing, client engagement, and project execution.Knowledge of contaminated land management, waste classification, PSI/DSI investigations, remediation programs, and report preparation.Familiarity with SA and National regulatory frameworks, including SA EP Act, PFAS NEMP, and ASC NEPM.Asbestos assessors license and/or NATA fibre counting experience.Experience in hazardous material assessments, asbestos audits, airborne fibre monitoring, and abatement services.Concluding Remarks for Potential Candidates Agon champions equality and diversity, striving to foster a welcoming workplace for everyone.
