This is a great opportunity on an initial temporary casual basis with opportunity to extend.About the roleWorking for a Ballarat based organisation your role will include working with the Environment and waste management team to ensure contractors on key sites around the Ballarat region are meeting compliance requirements, as well as conduct site audits and reporting for multiple sites across the region.The AssignmentImmediate startInitial 6 month contact (potential for extension)Monday to FridayOffice located in Ballarat, VICHybrid work available - 2 days office, 3 days WFHHourly pay rate flexible - commensurate with experienceWhat you will doConduct compliance audits on site and regular site inspections to ensure compliance requirements are being met at waste facilitiesReview important documents including reports, scope documents, and monitoring reports to ensure complianceConduct accurate reporting and develop accurate statements for submission to government environmental regulators and auditorsWhat you will haveExperience working in an environmental or waste management compliance or audit roleTertiary qualifications in compliance, environmental science or management or a related field desirablePlease note the successful candidate must be willing to have or be willing to obtain an Australian police check and an Employee working with children check.Don't delay - applications are being considered immediately.
