Shifts run Monday to Sunday, 5:54 am–2:00 pm or 1:54 pm–10:00 pm.Key ResponsibilitiesRemoving waste receptacles from various locations around the HospitalEnsuring there are clean receptacles readily availableAligning with sustainability targetsUsing cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectivelyAdhering to infection control procedures and hospital protocolsReporting any maintenance or safety issues promptlyTo be successful in this role you'll have:Previous experience in a Waste Management roleKnowledge of safe chemical handling and infection control proceduresAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and commitment to high standardsGood communication skills and a customer-focused approachFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidaysAs a fast-growing and successful global company, Serco's services span across the areas of Justice, Immigration, Defence, Space, Customer Services, Health, and Urban Mobility.
