Environmental And Sustainability Advisor

Georgiou has done it again with another major project win!As a result of Georgiou's significant growth after securing the Mandurah Estuary Bridge Duplication project, we are seeking an Environmental & Sustainability Advisor with ISC knowledge to join our project team. Based on site in Mandurah, you will make a valuable contribution on a formally ISC rated Project, involving construction of a launched bridge over a RAMSAR wetland.
What to expect in this role:

Liaise with project teams
Manage onsite environmental systems
Develop environmental/sustainability reporting systems (project based)
Coordinate Sustainability Project Objectives
Develop and update system to accommodate sustainability rating assessment requirements (project based)
Conduct sustainability reviews
Consult and communicate environmental and sustainability issues and information with stakeholders
Coordinate & Communicate Sustainability learnings and knowledge
Liaise with sustainability governing bodies (ISC)

What we are seeking:

Minimum 2 years of relevant Environmental or Sustainability Advisory construction experience.
Involved in the delivery of an Infrastructure Sustainability Council Design and/or As Built Rating (highly desirable)
Degree in Environmental Science or equivalent
Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professional (highly desirable)
Knowledge & understanding of Commonwealth, State, Acts, Regulations and Australian Standards
Specialist working knowledge in a key sustainability aspect such as energy and emissions, heritage, workforce sustainability, water, sustainable procurement, circular economy (highly desirable)
Knowledge & understanding of environmental monitoring - noise, dust, vibration and water
Knowledge of ISO 14001 requirements and licence approval process
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
