Your new Company:
A fast growing and still small Carbon Project Developer with an established regenerative carbon project portfolio with 10 sites across QLD and NSW and 10 new projects in the pipeline. They have a focus on HIR projects, utilizing Integrated Farm Management methodology such as beef herd and savannah burning, and are looking to expand into the marine sector and blue carbon credits. All projects are approved and registered under the Clean Energy Regulator.
Your new role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will assist with project origination and business growth. Your responsibilities will include:
Assessing environmental compliance requirements and the feasibility of potential sites/land for regenerative carbon projects.Advising suitable methodologies for land and farming practices.Ensuring carbon code & regulatory compliance.Conducting project monitoring and compliance checks on field and desktop.Creating land management plans and engaging with landowners.Performing internal/project audits as well as GIS and ecological assessments.Who you are:
You have 2-4 years' experience in environmental compliance and land management or similar within the Carbon industry. An environmental science and carbon background is ideal. Experience in Regenerative Agriculture and 4WD/remote site access is desirable. You will have the opportunity to innovate, create, and develop procedures and processes from scratch.
