The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years. 
The proposed project consists of a program of works across three Department of Defence establishments including: 
The proposed capital investment of $1.7b will incorporate a variety of elements including:

The Opportunity  As an Environmental Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
Water quality monitoring, testing and reporting Noise and vibration monitoring and reporting Ensure compliance with project environmental approvals Managing subcontractor's environmental compliance and reporting Develop and delivering training sessions and toolbox talks to project team and subcontractors on environmental aspects Conduct environmental audits on subcontractors as the Lead Auditor Conduct and record environmental site inspections at least weekly Attendance at Construction Planning meetings Management of environmental documents and record keeping Liaise with the construction teams to prepare construction community notifications, out of hours applications (Notice of Disruption), newsletters and presentation material  Meet regularly with the project Client to provide updated construction status information and out of hours applications Proactivity prepare community communications on emerging community issues Receive and action project complaints and enquiries to resolve complaints and provide project information  Respond to calls and complaints  Organise and attend meetings with key stakeholders and property owners Coordinate site events, site tours and educational site visits Ensure compliance with project approvals relating to community notifications and complaints reporting. What you'll bring Hold or able to obtain a Government Security Clearance (Australian citizen is required)  A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or similar field Lead auditor training and / or experience  5 + years' experience in construction in a related field A sound knowledge of environmental legislation and requirements  Broad knowledge of safety and health legislation Written and verbal communication skills Analytical, negotiation and relationship skills More than anything, you'll have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a drive to provide high quality outcomes for the Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services business unit and our clients.
