Who are we? Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services as part of the P4S Program in Sydney Water's Southern Region of Sydney. We are delivering water for our customers, to protect Sydney's iconic way of life and leave a legacy for future generations. D4C is a consortium comprising of John Holland, Service Stream and WSP.D4C will provide long term employment opportunities to diversify the skills of the people of the southern region of Sydney as well as creating pathways to enter the water industry. What are we looking for? We have identified an exciting opportunity for an Environment Advisor to join our project supporting the D4C team and working closely with our Sydney Water team to help communicate our vision with our people.? The role will include: Supporting the development of project specific environmental management plan and documents Undertake frequent surveillance onsite to ensure that all environmental obligations as outlined in the Program Environmental and Heritage Management Plan (PEHMP), Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP), Environmental Work Method Statement (EWMS), Site Environmental Plans (SEP), and statutory planning approvals have been implemented and maintained. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant legal, regulatory and company environmental requirements Report, monitor and improve sustainability and environmental performance, compliance and defects Effectively communicate key sustainability and environmental information to internal and external stakeholders Report, monitor and improve sustainability and environmental performance, Provide advice and guidance to the design, construction, commercial, operational and other key project teams in relation to sustainability and environmental management requirements Essential Requirements:? Degree OR qualification in relevant field Current driver's licence Construction and Maintenance/FM environment management experience Knowledge of compliance and reporting procedures processes Onsite experience essential White card What's next?
