About the role Laing O'Rourke is looking for an Environmental Advisor to join us working on a large-scale public infrastructure project based in Armadale, WA.
Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and promoting excellence in project environmental matters, delivery of environmental programmes and initiatives on the project, and providing advice to supervisors, project management team, employees, and other project stakeholders.About you You will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Science along with an intermediate level of experience, having worked on major construction projects in Australia.You will also be required to demonstrate basic environmental risk management capabilities within a major infrastructure project environment.
You will be required to keep abreast of environmental legislation, compliance, and reporting requirements and be able to assist in the identification of significant factors affecting the project design.You will have an exceptional energy and drive to grow yourself and the company you work for and radiate a passion and determination to succeed and act at all times in accordance with Laing O'Rourke guiding principles and values, which means working collaboratively as One Team across businesses, teams, and functions and behaving with integrity in all dealings with others.We are looking for someone who can demonstrate initiative with a proactive approach in their work and who seeks continuous improvement through self-development and learning from others.We work hard to create an environment that brings out the best in our people.
