Flexible work arrangements with work from home daysSydney or Melbourne location with site visitsMulti-state presence, Market leading contractorTHE ROLE As the Environmental Advisor, you will focus on environmental management plans, work practices, improvements, initiatives and awareness.
RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with pre-contracts teams to ensure environmental management measures are incorporated into our submissions and planned project activitiesDevelop documentation such as Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP's) to support tender submissions, environmental approvals on a national levelDevelop and provide environmental awareness programs and trainingUndertake environmental inspections and oversee the implementation of environmental management measuresDrive the implementation of Duratec's certified Environmental Management System (EMS)Support the development of systems, subplans, inspections, and monitoring toolsReview environmental incidents and assist with environmental incident management at a national levelSupport project delivery to obtain and maintain compliance with relevant environmental obligationsSupport the project teams in meeting environmental commitmentsSupport organisational change within area of control to achieve ESG objectives and strategyABOUT YOU Previous experience in the construction or mining area would be advantageous for this opportunity.
