Health, Safety & Environment (Mining, Resources & Energy) You will be a part of a dynamic and engaged Environmental team responsible for the contribution of environmental activities within the operation which meet current and anticipated demands in accordance with Gold Fields EHS standards whilst maintaining strict compliance with relevant legislative and statutory requirements to ensure sustainable mining operations.

This role would be offered on an 8 days on 6 days off FIFO from Perth roster.
Benefits include: Quarterly Bonus Scheme Salary sacrifice options Increased annual leave entitlements Employee Assistance Program Long service leave pro rata after 5 years of continuous service About the role: Partner with key stakeholders in the provision of proactive environmental management plan (particularly land disturbance, water, waste and biodiversity management); Ensure effective controls are in place to manage compliance with legislative, heritage and company obligations; Contribute to sustainable mining by advising on and facilitating approvals for operations; Undertake stakeholder engagement including meetings with regulators and local communities; Assist in the continuous improvement and maintenance of the site's ISO14001 certified Environmental Management System; Coordinate and undertake site monitoring programs, data collection and analysis, and reporting to ensure compliance with legal and other requirements. About you: Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or related discipline A strong understanding of Western Australia legislation (DMIRS, DWER, DPLH and DBCA) Intermediate level of competency in Microsoft Office.
Experience in ArcGIS and UAV Remote Pilot Licence is desirable. Proven experience in an environmental function within the mining sector Possess a valid manual Driver's Licence Applications can be submitted via: Australia
