Reporting to the Environmental & Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent environmental performance across the project.RESPONSIBILITIESEnsuring that the CEMP is effectively established, implemented, and maintained at the project level.Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, rules, procedures, standards, and policies.Providing specialist environmental advice to all functional managers, particularly Design, Procurement, Commercial, and Construction, to ensure environmental obligations are integrated across all Project delivery functions.Conducting ongoing risk management and hazard identification processes.Managing specialist consultants to ensure all contract requirements are met.Coordinating accident/incident investigations and producing environmental bulletins and alerts.Monitoring of environmental aspects including soil, water, noise, etc.Conducting inspection and assurance processes.ABOUT YOURelevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar.Demonstrated experience in a similar role (infrastructure construction preferred).A passion for developing and implementing sustainable solutions.Ability to influence project teams and subcontractors.Relevant experience working with contaminated land and emerging contaminants (preferred but not essential).Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (preferred but not essential).WHAT WE OFFERRemuneration: Competitive salary + company benefits including Paid Parental Leave, External Study Financial Assistance, Salary Sacrifice Superannuation, Novated Leasing, Employee Assistance Program, Corporate Discounts, and Industry Memberships.Job Security: This is a permanent, full-time position.
