Full-time permanent Environmental Advisor position Location: Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, or Brisbane Salary: Up to $118,320 + 14% superannuation (dependent on experience) Airservices Australia is a government-owned organization responsible for the safe and efficient management of 11% of the world's airspace and provision of aviation rescue fire fighting services at Australia's busiest airports. Our team operates from various locations across the country, ensuring the safety of Australia's aviation industry every day. The Role & The Team The Environmental Advisor will support the on-ground environmental work plan and implementation of the heritage strategy across the value chain for on-ground operations. Responsibilities include providing advice and support on Environmental System Management (EMS) requirements, managing environmental issues and incidents, and ensuring compliance with EMS requirements. The Person We are looking for an individual with: Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Law Demonstrated experience in EMS application, environmental management, and assurance activities Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work on multiple tasks efficiently Airservices Australia values diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
