IEPro are currently searching for an Environmental Advisor to join a civil contractor working on civil infrastructure projects in Queensland.

The Role Responsibilities
As the Environmental Advisor on the project you will lead the project team across all the environmental related topics in addition to the below responsibilities:
Monitor and manage construction activities regarding project Environmental approvals and Construction Environmental Management Plan requirements;Undertake regular site inspections/audits of construction activities against the Construction Environmental Management Plan;Coordinate environmental impact assessment approvals and other environmental permits and licenses;Liaise with sub-contractor representatives and other stakeholders to develop solutions and strategies to achieve project environmental requirements and business goals;Support the project team with the preparation and implementation of Construction Environmental Management Plans and associated sub plans, environmental procedures, and Environment and Sustainability reporting.About You: Relevant tertiary education in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or similar;Minimum 3 years' experience working in a similar role on a major civil construction project in Australia;Demonstrated understanding of QLD Environmental Guidelines and Legislation;Stakeholder engagement, negotiation and relationship building skills.Benefits Salary package of up to $160k + super (dependent on experience)A work environment where safety is always the number one priorityA permanent position working with a well-regarded civil contractorCareer development to further your technical or leadership ambitions.Apply
