We are what you're looking for.The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist – Environment and Sustainability to join our team on a full-time permanent basis, located in the Perth CBD.Reporting to the Manager – Environment & Sustainability, this role will develop environmental programs and provide environmental and sustainability technical guidance to the Operations Division, including the management and lodgement of project environmental approvals required by CBH.Responsibilities include:Provide support to the Manager - E&S for environmental management, approvals, reporting and compliance.Document and Data Control: annual HSEQ Integrated Management system document updates and development, for example Environmental Management Standard, Asbestos Management Plan, Water Quality Management Plan.Assist with annual ISO 14001 audit and IMS risk review processes.Provide technical guidance to the Operations Division for key sustainability programs such as water capture and reuse, and waste management.Manage specialised contractors and consultants to ensure environmental referrals and applications are complete and in line with CBH's values.About You:Environmental Science/Management and/or Sustainability degree qualification and/or 3-5 years' experience in similar HSE role/s.In depth understanding of HSEQ accreditation requirements and management systems, such as ISO14001.Experience with Environmental Impact Assessments, including conducting or reviewing Biological Surveys and Native Vegetation Clearing Permit Documentation.Why work with CBH?Work with meaning and being part of something biggerPlay a critical role in moving WA's grain from paddocks to ports, and on to countries all around the world.
