The CompanyOur client is a well-established and emerging Australian ASX-listed Oil & Gas producer.
They have a diverse and stable portfolio of producing and prospective gas tenements across the Northern Territory (NT) and Queensland.They also operate the largest onshore oil and gas fields in the NT, producing from proven reserves west of Alice Springs.
The leadership team are proven industry experts who collectively shape the vision and strategy that ensures their ongoing success.
With long term gas supply agreements and exceptional joint venture partners, their stability and growth potential are assured.
The OpportunityThe role will support all operational departments including exploration, drilling and production activities.
The role is to be the key interface with environmental authorities in the N.T and Northern QLD regions.
Key Responsibilities Development of the Environmental Management Systems (EMS)Review and reporting environmental performance, and develop improvement plansCommunicate the environmental performance and technical standardsGroundwater monitoringProvide technical environmental expertise and support to the businessLead or review investigations of significant environmental incidentsSupport the delivery of improvements in environmental performanceEnvironment and risk assurance activitiesCompliance system development and monitoringEnsure compliance with cultural heritage, Aboriginal land rights and native titleQualifications & Experience Applicable degree and or 5 to 10 years of industry experienceExperience in upstream oil & gas, preferably onshore in Queensland and the NTPrevious roles with close interactions with operations and governmentThorough knowledge of federal and state laws and environmental policy / regulationAbility to coordinate the development of environmental management plans (EMP's)Knowledge of regulatory and industry requirements related to the management of oil and gas facilitiesStrong knowledge of environmental management technology and current practicesStrong risk analysis and process development skillsHow to Apply?Please click 'Apply' and submit your current resume.Phone: Email: Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
