Our client is an Australian law firm in growth mode. Their environment & planning law team is award winning and growing. This particular team mainly acts for local government authorities and councils but also developers and private entities. Due to new instructions and a strong pipeline of work, the team is looking to recruit an experienced environment & planning lawyer with at least 3 years pae. You will be at Associate level or Senior Lawyer/Senior Associate.
You will have client and matter responsibility and a flavour of the work will include:
land & environment proceedings development appeals enforcements & judicial reviews prosecutions native title applications advice work in relation to environmental issues
The work is interesting and you will be stretched intellectually.


About You

The ideal candidate will have:
At least 3 years post admission experience in environment & planning law (lawyers working in-house or in govt are encouraged to apply) Strong technical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a committed team but also autonomously Ability to work under pressure and juggle competing deadlines Passion and enthusiasm Culture & Benefits
