Climate Change, Energy and Water (Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate - EPSDD) is seeking applications from experienced and enthusiastic professionals to fill the role of Assistant Director – Gas Transition Policy in the Energy Transformation Branch.
The Assistant Director we are seeking will deliver policy to support the delivery of the Integrated Energy Plan, including regulatory policy and design.
Key work being delivered by the Gas Transition Team includes policy and regulatory settings to support and manage a declining gas network, reduce ongoing demand for fossil gas, and promote an equitable energy transition.
The Assistant Director will be required to work closely and collaboratively with other Energy Transformation policy teams to ensure policy design considers the needs of the entire energy system in the Territory.
