ENTRY TO URGENT CARE PROGRAM Permanent part time hours and temporary part time hours available.
Program commences in January 2025, however successful applicants may commence earlier. Six month program inclusive of six paid study days. On completion of this program successful applicants will be expected to have successfully completed advanced life support. Topics covered include:
Fast track Respiratory emergencies assessment and management Abdominal emergencies assessment and management Neurological emergencies assessment and management Blood gas interpretation Diabetic emergencies and management Introduction to trauma Sepsis management Paediatric emergencies assessment and management Mental health in the emergency department ADO in the emergency department Obstetrics and genealogical emergencies ECG interpretation and rhythm recognition What's required? Completion of graduate year or equivalent. Ability to organise work in a systematic, accurate and timely manner and be flexible in a changing environment. Demonstrate skills in teamwork and leadership. Ability to work all shifts including nights and weekends.
