Your new role We have multiple casual entry store assistant positions available at our Cheltenham and Bentleigh Stores, with potential shifts at other Southside locations, weekday and weekends.
As a store assistant, you'll be responsible for sorting donations, selecting quality stock, and pricing items. But you'll also play a vital role in the daily operations of the store, providing excellent customer and donor service. You will become a key contributor to the operations of our Op Shops. A typical day will involve sorting and processing donations, merchandising, operating the point of sale and providing outstanding customer service. You'll be constantly building and managing relationships, ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression.
We're looking for someone who Has previous experience in an op-shop or retail environment (desirable). Has previous knowledge or is willing to learn how to identify, sort and price designer and vintage wear, homewares, collectibles and antiques. Can showcase visual merchandising skills and window display expertise. Can effectively process all transactions. Doesn't mind physical activity. Will maintain an exceptional store environment.
