Entry Level Payroll OfficerJob no: 497477Work type: Full-timeLocation: WA - Perth MetroCategories: Civil Engineering, Construction, MiningThe RoleWe are seeking an Entry Level Payroll Officer to join our team at our Subiaco Head Office.This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone wanting a career change into payroll, to gain hands-on experience, fill their curiosity, and develop their skills in payroll processing.You will assist in performing payroll for two or more payrolls, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the team with payroll-related tasks and queries.
We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, a flexible and proactive work style, and a keen interest in building a career in payroll.Permanent full-time opportunities available.Responsibilities include:Establish and maintain accurate weekly payroll processes using PayGlobal (end-to-end payroll)Ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining database with updates/changesMaintain employee records for new hires, pay changes, and terminationsReview timesheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepanciesAssist in managing and processing superannuation contributionsCommunicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll process and operationsLiaise with, and support the HR and Finance teamsWork closely with our Payroll Supervisors and Manager to improve data capture and processing efficiencies within payrollThe successful applicant will ideally have:Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamworkA positive attitude towards safety, training & environmentFocused on continuous improvement and ongoing learningStrong organisational skills, attention to detail and results orientedGood people skills - assertive and direct while being a good listenerVery comfortable with computers, technology and systemsAbility to follow directions, ask questions and want to learnBe motivated and driven.Previous HR or finance experience (desirable)About Us:SRG Global is a diversified industrial services company.
