We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Entertainment Manager to join our team and play a key role in the success of the Ekka's Entertainment program.
You will have a passion for entertainment, event planning and management, exceptional networking and stakeholder engagement abilities, and strong organisational and administrative skills.

You will be responsible for: Design a diverse entertainment schedule catering to different audiences.Source and contract performers, including musicians, cultural acts, and educational presentations.Align entertainment offerings with the event's theme.Coordinate performance schedules, stage setups, and technical requirements.Work closely with other departments to integrate entertainment with broader event operations.Manage the entertainment budget, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining quality.Negotiate contracts with performers, vendors, and suppliers.Build and maintain relationships with performers, agents, and entertainment suppliers.Manage talent during the event, ensuring their needs are met.Ensure all entertainment activities comply with health and safety regulations.Address insurance and licensing requirements for performances and installations.Collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, Sponsorship and Communications Departments to promote key acts and entertainment offerings.Highlight unique or high-profile performers to draw in crowds.About Us: The Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland (RNA) is a prominent organisation responsible for the iconic Royal Queensland Show (Ekka) and numerous other functions & events throughout the year.
