We are seeking dedicated individuals from diverse backgrounds to join our Lived Experience Advisory Group. The Group will play a key role in informing and guiding our strategies, ensuring the voices of those directly impacted by our services are heard and valued.
We are specifically looking for people who have lived experience in one or more of the following areas:
People living with a disability and/or their carers Lived experience of mental illness, mental health crisis or caring for someone living with a mental illness Lived Experience of long term unemployment, engagement with employment services and/or adult education Young people aged 18-25 years People with lived experience of homelessness People with lived experience of interaction with the justice system People from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds The Role: As a member of the Lived Experience Advisory Group you will:
Provide insights and feedback on the development and improvement of ETC services. Collaborate with Board Sub-Committees to influence key strategic priorities and policy decisions. Participate in regular meetings (both in-person and virtual options available) and contribute to discussions on issues that matter to you and your community. Work with us to co-design innovative solutions and future directions for our organisation. This is a remunerated position and as such you will be expected to prepare for and participate in virtual bi-monthly meetings initially, as the Group is set up, and then quarterly thereafter.
