About the opportunity The Enterprise Strategy team drives the delivery of Australia Post's Post26 enterprise strategy and supports the Business Units on major initiatives, strategy, and planning to deliver organisational transformation.
The team develops strategic initiatives, builds strategic capabilities across Australia Post, and provides enterprise leadership through strategic thinking.
You will provide support to the development of future Modernisation options, inform the Corporate Plan process, the Post30 Strategy, and Stakeholder Engagement.
What you'll deliver with us As a 2IC to the 'General Manager, Enterprise Strategy', you will work in partnership with the Extended Leadership Team to deliver the agreed Post26 Strategy and to develop the Post30 Strategy.
You will achieve this by:
Collaborating with the Enterprise Planning and Finance teams to align our Corporate Plan with the Post26 Strategy.Working with the P&L Business Units (Parcels & Letters and Retail & Services) to design, develop and/or deliver specific initiatives to achieve the Post26 strategy and metrics, aligned with the Enterprise Planning function.Ensuring our strategy remains relevant and working with the Extended Leadership Team to help adjust/achieve the strategy accordingly.Working with the Extended Leadership Team to leverage the Post26 Strategy as a foundation, and building on the long-term cross-functional programs to develop the Post30 Strategy.Providing support to the Extended Leadership Team and helping them with the preparation of the materials for the Board Strategy sessions.Leading cross-business project teams, allocating work, defining and quality control deliverables, including management of strategy team aligned to key strategy initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.About you Tertiary qualifications in Business / Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or other relevant field (preferably MBA / MA in a numerate discipline).Ability to frame and structure problems, and undertake quantitative & financial business analysis, extracting insights, particularly in areas of ambiguity.Ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.Knowledge of eCommerce, parcel/postal services, logistics, retail, financial services, government services industry viewed favourably but not essential.How we will deliver for you We invest in you for the long-term, encouraging growth through delivering on our values of trust, inclusivity, empowerment, and safety.
