The Amazon Web Services Professional Services team is looking for an Enterprise Service Manager (ESM) that can manage the working relationship with large organizations, develop a long term Professional Services strategy and execute that strategy within those accounts. The ESM is a trusted advisor for our largest and most committed customers. The role includes all aspects of business development, relationship development, sales of Professional Services, delivery oversight, and program management in those accounts.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for someone who is passionate about:
Long term development of large, complex, and distributed enterprisesEngaging with customers to understand their business drivers and application portfolioDevelopment of long term Cloud Strategy for customersIdentifying & developing specific opportunities and supporting business casesDeal shaping, including estimations and deal pricingContract negotiations & closingPlanning and implementation of a portfolio of projects, including budget & deliverable responsibilitiesMitigation of delivery risks & issuesOverseeing delivery of projects in account, ensuring high quality deliveryActing as single point of contact for customer executives, developing deep, trustful relationsEducating customers on AWS services and translating those into a clear business value propositionEnvisioning and inspiring customersCoaching customers and partners to be self-sufficientBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 7+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- IT consulting/ management/ transformation experience in customer-facing roles
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system
- Experience in external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management
- Masters/MBA degree preferred
